Great Way to Safely Transport Pets
The Car-Dek Seat Self performs exactly as described. It is light weight; legs are easy to adjust; fits perfectly in my suv; 2 smalll dogs AND their beds fit with room for their water bowl. Plenty of room for a large dog as well. I usually don't give reviews, however, every dog or owner/dog lover who transports their pet should consider this. I am VERY glad that I did.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Will the pet deck fit in the back seat of a 2009 Honda CRV?
- Yes although it works best with a “regular” second row seat. We have buckets so we need to support the front area of the pet deck so it doesn’t flip up

Would this work to put in the backseat of my pickup and put a crate on it
- Yes, just keep in mind it raises the seat height about 2 inches so make sure you can still clear the door opening to slide it in. We of course recommended safety strapping any cargo or crate in place. It will hold about 200 lbs just make sure the legs are just touching the floor when first installed as the seat should be carrying 90% of the weight.

Can this be used with a seatbelt tether?
- Yes, we at PetDek recommend that you do. You normally can still access the seat belt latch buckle to attach it. We don't supply one with the PetDek as there are too many variables on dog size.

Does this include any kind of cover for storage?
- No need as it folds in half like a suitcase with the legs folded inside. The carpet can just be rolled up and rubber banded. Both the PetDek and carpet can be hosed off for cleaning. The carpet is a special material with a rubberized backing to grip the PetDek and car seat to keep it from sliding. Joe from PetDek

Can this work in the passenger front seat?
- No, it is not designed for front seat usage. The front seat is a dangerous place for a Pet in an accident as the airbag triggering could cause serious injures.
Helpful?
will this work with rear captain chairs?
- Yes, it will span the gap in rear bucket seats. Just make sure you have 48 inches between the doors and. 24 inches between the front and back sear.
Helpful?
What is the maximum length of the legs?
- The legs slope out but raise the PetDek 16 16 inches vertical. They stabilize the PetDek as the seat carries 90% of the weight. You adjust the legs with the PetDek on the seat, not lifted. They slope out.
