I want to get this canned food for my dog as a topper to her dry food. It has shredded chicken along with whole white beans, peas and potatoes. Will she be able to digest this ok because the beans, peas and potatoes are not ground into a pate texture? she's on the dry version of this currently. I also ditched the twelve calorie treats and purchased the smaller 2 calorie treats and I'm only giving her three of those per day. Her total intake of extras is now less than 10% of her diet. :-)

Dogs on canned food with dry food. Want them on dry food only. Very picky dogs. Thinking for their transition blending freeze dried bully mini cubes to make a yummy powder on top. I’m really searching for a different flavor royal canine wet dog food and royal canine doesn’t have much of a selection. So I also saw broth bowls food topper. I have a VERY picky chihuahua that I try to feed grain free but he gets bored so I also give him some partial cooked wild game and chicken (no bones) & he gets bored with it all! He also gets some bites of meat fr our meal & currently on Blue-Grain Free but tried a sample of Royal Canin Mini Special and so far he is picking it over the Blue when next to it. Ingred. on Royal C is Chicken Meal and grains, etc which I thought was not good..what is your opinion? (He also gets gassy easily)
My dog is not the biggest fan of dry food, so i try to mix it with food topper, but he ends up only eating the food topper and later he’ll eat the dry food. The one I buy is from pedigree, and the recommended amount is 300g of this + 75g of dry food but isn’t it better to feed him wet food (that usually already comes in 300g) and the 75g of dry food? Are these food toppers a substitute to regular wet food?

Is Hills i/d digestive care chicken stew a good food for dogs? I noticed it has some sugar in it - is this ok? I want to use this as a topper on my dogs regular kibble because she has a sensitive system and she loves the taste. She's on Natural balance lid small breed bites currently and doing great.
My dog is a picky eater and she's currently getting wet and dry food. What homemade foods could I add with it to give it more flavor? I'd switch can food flavors, but Royal Canin doesn't offer a lot of flavors. Thanks!
