Will this item the heated cat house be sufficient for a backyard cat? Or do I need to keep it inside?

Except for times of extreme cold, this heated outdoor kitty house should provide sufficient heat for an outside cat. it is still recommended that the house be placed somewhere it won't be directly exposed to rain or heavy snow (under cover and positioned so it won't sit in water).

My dog has been on a grain free soy free and chicken free food for about 8 months, He is 3 and has been gaining weight. He eats about 1/2 can of food twice a day and maybe a handful of dry food in between. He is never been a very active dog. He is part beagle and part chihuahua. My pug needs to lose a bit of weight. In conjunction with exercise, i have him on a grain free dry food and feed him boiled chicken once per evening. Is this a healthy and appropriate meal to help with weight management?
Weight Loss in Dogs: i have 2 Chihuahua's who have been on a diet with no results. The 1st dog weighs 10 lbs and should 5 to 6 lbs. The 2nd dog weighs 20lbs and should weigh 12 to 14 pounds. This is according to the Vet. We feed them Blue Buffalo Healthy Weight and Fresh Pet. Dog 1 gets 15 grams of each, Dog 2 gets 40 grams dry and 25 wet. Both are fed 2 time a day. The dogs willnot walk or any type of actual exercise.
