Will this item the heated cat house be sufficient for a backyard cat? Or do I need to keep it inside?

Except for times of extreme cold, this heated outdoor kitty house should provide sufficient heat for an outside cat. it is still recommended that the house be placed somewhere it won't be directly exposed to rain or heavy snow (under cover and positioned so it won't sit in water).
