I wish there are more colors to choose from

The best thing since we live in NYC and the heat can be brutal. This has helped with my fear of heatstroke HIGHLY RECOMMEND

While I was traveling, my dogsitter asked that I order the vest and snood since a heat wave has been predicted for my city. I have a Cavalier King Charles, which means he is wearing a long fur coat at all times. The vest made it possible for him to join the doggie gang when the temperature soared. I hadn't been aware of this product. Great idea for a hot summer.

I got this as a last minute resort from PetCo because I couldn't wait for shipping on anything else. I ended up loving it! I have an 85lb Cane Corso Doberman mix, who overheats easily because of all the black on his back. The X-Large fits him perfectly from the neck all the way down his back (which is 26"). There is a ton of room to loosen or tighten around the waist area (he has a 31" chest). When I feel his neck thats showing compared to his back underneath the vest, his neck is burning up and his back feels great. He seems to love it, as he got some of the biggest zoomies Ive ever seen after putting it on him. He also doesn't pant nearly as hard and wants to be outside longer when hes wearing it. I will say, the back straps that go around his hind legs do seem to slightly bother him, but they are not tight so they dont iritate his skin. He does get over it, but I may look at cutting them off and sewing on an alternative myself. I would dock maybe half a star for that. As for the color, I think its alright. Its easy to see my dog from far and looks decent. I would have gone for the purple if it were available near me, but thats just personal preference. I will most likely be buying the one for around his neck as well. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a cooling vest for during walks or outside play.
