I shared this chart with my fellow doodle owners and we all had a chuckle over it. According to this our dogs would not play outside all winter. -25 is acceptable to well dressed Goldendoodles and sheepadoodles. Anything between -10 to -15 they consider normal and actually lay in the snow. How accurate is the information in this chart?
Ok so I have an issue. Its getting cold here and we are looking at some very heavy snow this year. All three of our dogs are rather thin coated. The older two refuse to potty outside if its too cold. Would sweaters help? Also the youngest is less than two pounds (tiny chihuahua mix) and even though he's not allowed outside yet we like 2 to 4 inches above our floor tend to get cold no matter what temperature we keep the house at how can I help him stay warm?

My dog is 34 pounds overweight according to our vet. We are currently putting her science hill's active fitness and cutting back on table scraps 100%. However, we are also trying to increase her exercise and she gets overheated very easily. She is a great pyr mixed with lab and inherited the thick double coat. Why does my dog hate wearing sweaters? The others are always good, hazel has a water jacket and I put it on her when its really cold or raining and she always stays still like a statue and then she will rub against the wall, plants, or a couch, the jacket fits her perfectly and she can pee and poop with no issue (asking since summer is all most over ) thank you!
