Nice boots

My puppy loves these boots but quality wise not so good. This needs to be made sturdier. Materials falls apart easily. Hoping a new and improved summer boot is created.

Our dog has fluffy paws and these tend to stay on and look comfortable for him. Best purchase we could’ve made

Sand spurs

Joy M.

Frank adopted us a year ago, along with his pal Ripley, and he has long hair that sand spurs get tangled up in rather easily. When that happens he stops walking and refuses to move until the sand spurs are removed. This makes walks miserable. So we started putting his snow boots on to see a. if he would walk in them in the summer, and b. if they would block the sand spurs. Yes to both, so we bought the Hot Pavement boots so he wouldn’t get too hot on walks. The boots do the trick, but they do not stay up as well as the snow boots. His front boots especially have to be adjusted at least once on just about every walk. They do not fall off, but they slide down and he ends up walking on the leg part instead of the foot part. Also, we’re concerned about the holes in the foot pads that are designed to allow water to drain. We walk on gravel roads primarily and we’re afraid the holes will wear out quickly. He has been using them for about a week and no sign of wear yet, so we’re giving it the ole wait and see. Speaking of the snow boots, any chance of making a design that has a bigger toggle to tighten the tops? Frank and Ripley have to live outside (yes, they have an insulated dog house, heat lamp, etc) and my hands about froze off last winter because I had to take off my gloves to tighten the toggle while putting the boots on outside.

Tore after a few uses

They are the only shoes that fit my cavapoo because of the Velcro and bungee cord but the bottoms and toes were torn in less than a week. These also ran larger than the winter boots so I really had to tighten them around her little ankles. My dog is an after poop scratcher but I thought these would hold up on grass. Very disappointing

I love that Cody can walk longer on hot days. The boots are easy to put on and stay on once I found the right size. We started with a size two and we struggled with keeping them on but he did fairly well. I ordered a size one and they stay on and he trips less. I do wish there was a way to keep the Velcro strap secure as he sometimes steps on the extra strap that hangs because his legs are so skinny. I wish I had that problem! I bought gray and the bottoms are so dirty from the pavement. Now I want him to wear them every time we go out even if it’s not triple digits.

Hot Pavement Boots

I think the boots are a great item. I ordered both a size 2 and 3. I wasn't sure the correct size for my short legged, big paw Shih Tzu. The size 3 fit better, but was still too long for the length of her legs. We struggle to get the boots on, but hopefully she will benefit from wearing them soon!

Loved these for our backpacking adventure!

I like that they stay on and are small enough for my 14lb dog, Kaylee! We have only taken them out once, but they worked pretty well on our last backpacking trip. They are much better than the previous boots, but her feet still got a little hot during steep parts of the hike, even with the vent holes in the soles of the boots. As for the quality. great so far, but have only had them out once.

LOVE these hot pavement boots! I bought them for backpacking and they worked out great! My dog's feet still got a little warm during steep parts of the trip, but these are FAR better than the previous boots she had. Thank you so much Canada Pooch, for making tiny boots for her! One of the biggest problems I had was finding good boots that were small enough for her feet.
