Will it be good for a younger parakeet? I’m getting one in a couple of weeks and want to make sure the cage is set up properly.

Can I use this as a replacement for the ball in the Cage Mount Buffet Ball?
- This is a heavy good quality ball the 5" one, it was too heavy for my smaller parrots like a Amazon and a Conue. Ball does not come with any hardware or chain, its just the ball.

What toys are the best for parakeets
Hi there! I was just wondering, what is a preening toy for birds?
I have an older yellow lab that gets bored really easily. He gets bored with kongs and is an extreme chewer so rawhides or other chewies disappear SUPER fast! He is very intelligent and I was thinking of getting him a puzzle toy that involves treats as he is EXTREMELY food motivated! Since he's so smart should I still start him on the most basic puzzle or try something harder? I don't want to waste money on toys he'll go through really fast. And are there any other sorts of toys you can suggest?
Our birds beak seems layered? The too section is orange and then the too layer stops and the bottom layer keeps growing a kind of transparent colour? What could this be? He is on a formulated pellet diet but he didn't eat any fruits or vegetables as he refuses to.

My cockatiel has been eating Leferber’s Premium Daily Diet pellets as a staple diet. She’s also been eating broccoli everyday. I also give her a bit of crushed eggshells once or twice a week. I adopted a very overweight dog. I am working on weight management and she has lost some weight but I'm concerned as she gobbles her food down literally in a minute. I just bought the puzzle bowl but she can only reach one morsel at a time using her tongue as she is a big dog. This doesn't seem right either but I don't know. It definitely slowed her eating.
