My doggies really love thier Brutus Broth!

Bella absolutely loooooves her Brutus Bone Broth! She enjoyed the Pork flavor when served on its own and likes it even more as a wet food topper. Clarkie and Lucy also enjoyed the flavor of the Pork Bone Broth. I did get the impression that they liked the Beef flavor just a little bit more than the Pork bone broth, as they didn't quite finish all of the Pork flavored bone broth in their cups. They all like it very much as a meal topper. As a pet parent, I really love the all-natural ingredients and the enthusiasm the dogs have when I get the BrutusBroth carton out of the refrigerator! The added hydration to their diet and the Hip & Joint benefits of the beef broth give me peace of mind that I am helping them as they continue on in their senior years. Serving BrutusBroth products to my doggos is a win-win for me and my doggies!

We got to try this for free from Tryazon. My dog Freckles loves the taste and I love that it can keep her hydrated and encourage her to eat her food if she's feeling picky.

My sheepadoodle loves this pork broth! He has sensitivities to chicken & can be a picky eater, so this pork broth is great for encouraging him to eat his regular kibble.

My 13 year old Pomeranian likes it

My dog is older and has a few health issues which is why I supplement his diet with bone broth now. I usually make him homemade bone broth whenever I have the resources and time to do so but when I don’t, he like this just as much! So thankful to have found this because most bone broths at the store are made with onions, garlic, or other ingredients that are not safe for dogs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog usually doesn’t go for any bone broth, but I decided to try this brand. Eureka! He loved it! I got him the pork flavored one, & I was pleased with the consistency, smell, & its ingredients!

Questions

1 - 1 of 1 Questions
Sort by: Newest Answers

Are any of the Brutus bone broths somewhat gelatinous? Or are they all pure liquid? The more gelatinous it is, the more collagen it contains, so I'd like to know which one is best to feed my dog who has ligament tears.

  1. Thank you for your question. Brutus Broth goes through an aseptic manufacturing process. The aseptic manufacturing process is the most effective way to safely process liquid while maintaining the nutritional value. Through the process the liquid is heated at extremely high temperatures for a few seconds. Since the temperature is so high the duration needed for sterilization is very short, unlike other processes such as canning which require high heat for long periods of time. The process of high heat at short periods is very effective in killing pathogens but maintaining the nutrients, minerals, flavor and color of the broth. Unfortunately, during this process the gelatinous properties of the broth are "liquified". We do not add additional gelatin but we do add glucosamine and chondroitin to help support dogs' hips and joints.
