Introducing a New Food: Following this procedure should help prevent a digestive upset; it's best to acclimate your pet to a new food over a 10-day period. The first 3 days feed a mixture of 3/4 the current food and 1/4 Natural Behaviors. The next 3 days, feed a mixture of 1/2 the current food and 1/2 Natural Behaviors. The last 3 days, feed a mixture of 3/4 Natural Behaviors and 1/4 the current food. After 10 days you can supply only Natural Behaviors to your pet as its main diet. Recommended Daily Feeding Amounts: 90% Tropical Carnival Natural Behaviors. 10% fresh greens & fruit such as pineapple & papaya. For adult rabbits, additional fresh timothy hay or orchard grass hay should be available at all times. Supplement with alfalfa hay. Juvenile rabbits can be free fed alfalfa hay daily. Would you say this is good guinea pig food? I normally get grreat choice but I thought I'd try this.
What will make a Guinea pig healthy
Is there a brand of food that dont contain the pellets, I've noticed that my guinea pig doesn't like eating the pellets in her food...she eats everything but the pellets & we end up throwing the pellets out so we refill her dish...we give her hay as well but I'm worried that she might not be getting enough food...she's not losing weight so far.
My guinea pig won't eat or drink
Can guinea pigs be frd eith conflakes daily
What hay is best for a guinea pig, and what amount of veggies should I feed per guinea pig? Thanks!
My guinea pig has very tiny and dry poop and she suddenly eats only few strands of hay but she is eating all her veggies
Which vegetables can help in increasing guinea pigs weight.???
Many pet stores tell me that I should feed guinea pigs pellets but is it really? I watch videos who have healthy lively guinea pigs who only live on a diet of timothy hay and a variety of vegetable. Right now my 3 month guinea pigs are eating Kaytee's fortified daily diet pellets timothy hay and mostly leaf vegetables and a few bell peppers and carrots. In my area the pellets are getting expensive so do I have to buy them? Or is there a vegetable diet that gives them all there nutrition needed?
My guinea pig blue passed a large poop today & when he did he squeaked. They have been eating OXBOW Timothy hay for a year now but the quality in the hay has changed & they stopped eating it they picked out the fuzzy pieces so they haven't been getting the amount of hay they should be for around 1 month, someone said try OXBOW orchard & he's been eating it like a "pig", could not really having hay-having hay & eating lots DO THIS? he only passed 1 big poop & only squeaked then , now all normal
My Guinea pig just stopped eating his pellet food, which is highly unlikely him. He usually finishes it in a matter of minutes but I notice yesterday that he barely ate any of it. He still eats his veggies and hay, he just doesn't seem like himself.
I am in need of urinary grain free dog food for my pug,any naturals dog foods that fit that description?
