I like just about everything Browns Tropical Carnival makes, they have an awesome line of treats for various small pets, but I'm not to thrilled with their food, to many itty bitty teeny tiny seeds that no Hamster I've ever known or owned would eat. And it's not just Browns! Most every variety mixed small animal food is like this and as we all know, our animals are only going to pick out the good stuff and leave behind all the tiny seeds, which isn't healthy for them bc they aren't eating everything in the mix, they are missing out on much needed nutrients and vitamins that are essential to there well being. I wish these companies would figure this out and come up with a mix of various vegetables, fruits, grains, seeds, ect and make them nice and Chunky for our babies. I don't want to feed my animals anything I wouldn't want to eat myself and the way they package and sell the small animal mixed varieties thus far, well I wouldn't eat it and I hate buying it! But I feel I have to bc I want to give them variety, not just plain pellets every single day. I often buy fresh fruits and veggies and give them to them several times a month, but its expensive doing that and when you have chinchillas, hamsters, and guinea pigs not everything you but can be eaten by each of them. Some fruits and veggies aren't good for certain animals and some can be bad for certain animals, so when I go buy fresh foods for them, I'm often spending quite a bit bc each species has different rules for there specific dietary needs, especially chinchillas, they have very sensitive digestive systems. So hey all you people out there read our reviews and do something about this,! Give our fur babies s nice Chunky variety minus all those teeny tiny seeds!!!!

I bought this because of how much awesome stuff was in it. Well it has forever changed my pets. They will not eat any other brand but this. It’s amazing!

A nice assortment of viddles for the picky gerbil. I do wish this was available without the tiny round millet/bird seed, as none of my gerbil will eat it and they like to throw it out onto the floor while looking for the better bits.
