Questions
Do you consider this feed to be nutritionally complete for cage kept quail? Every other reference I've ever seen regarding feed for quail states that it needs to have a minimum of 18% protein. Most people who raise quail provide more than 20%
I will be a new owner of a diamond dove in two more days and wanted to know if this food is a good choice for a diamond dove if not could you recommend one
- Yes it's a very good quality you will also need to purchase grit for digestion. You will need to get it at a feed / pigeon store maybe online. You put it in a separate dish. Enjoy your new friend doves and pigeons they are wonderful birds

Is this the appropriate size for a diamond dove?
- Greetings: Diamond doves are much smaller than pigeons or ringneck doves. I believe they would do best on Finch mix, but will defer to those who keep diamond doves.

I have Chinese Button Quail. Are the seeds and grains small enough for them to eat?
- Over 90% of this blend is smaller seeds and grains such as millet, canary grass seed, oats and other ingredients that are favorites of Button Quail. They may not be able to eat the green peas and popcorn, but these two ingredients are a very small percentage of the blend.
