Less dust, great in LR4 and good odor control

Just to set the context, I use this in a Litter Robot 4. With that said, this is a top clumping litter so it behaves differently. If you're moving from something like FreshStep, there are a few key differences. 1. Considerably less dust when pouring. 2. Less Tracking --- when the cat's scratch to cover their mess, the stuff doesn't get stuck to their paws. 3. You may get more tracking from DRY granules if they like to shake their feet after doing their business like mine. To me, this is acceptable because I'd rather have dry granules than paws full of clumped up scented clay that they eat when cleaning themselves. Since this is top clumping, you need to make sure there is enough litter in the LR4. It needs to be at the fill line. In my experience, once the cat pees, the litter seems to be clumped up immediately and doesn't have a chance to get to the bottom. This experience may vary depending on how your cat likes to pee. If your cat pees on the edge, it's going to stick to the rubber. If they like to dig to the bottom and pee, it's going to stick to the bottom. If, like mine, the cat sits in the center, pees, and then covers, the pee never has a chance to get to the rubber. It's clumped immediately. If your cat likes to dig or pees on the edge, you need to experiment with the cycle time to give the litter enough time to fully absorb the liquid and detach from the rubber inside the LR4. This made a huge difference in my household with my rescue cat who doesn't have any idea how to pee in a box. He sits on the edge and pees on the back. It trickles down to the edge and he doesn't cover it up. For us, 15 minute cycle times gave the litter enough time to absorb the liquid and detach from the rubber.

Yes, I recommend this product.

A no go for our cats in Litter Robot

Did not work well for our cats in a Litter Robot. Basically turns to sludge and sticks to the bottom. When it cycles, it doesn’t fall to the waste drawer since it’s stuck.

No, I do not recommend this product.

The worst ever.

Absolutely the worst litter I have ever used. If you like sand scattered throughout your house, this litter is for you. Also, the clumps stay wet and therefore, unless you follow your cat(s) every time they use the box, you will not only have litter spread throughout your house, you’ll have paw prints from the wet litter.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not for me

Not truly satisfied :( I have a stainless steel box, I clean the litter every single day, and it still smells awful bc it doesn’t actually handle the order long term.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I've spent $$$ on all kinds of cat litter for years. This one is the ONLY cat litter I will buy. My cat loves it. It's easy to clean, traps the odor, and doesn't get everywhere.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Bag was partially opened when delivered

I’m trying to decide where to get my cat litter subscription. I would prefer not to deal with FedEx because I always have problems with their delivery. Unfortunately, this delivery was no different. The litter bag was partially opened. The box was flimsy so the corners were torn. You can imagine there were litter everywhere!!!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Works Great with Litter Robot 4

mightymorpho

Bought this a few months ago to try out different types of litter for the Litter Robot 4, and this particular litter has worked the best in my experience. This litter clumps well and is less likely to cake and stick on the sides liner or the side of the walls. Odor control is fairly good as well. My only bad experience with this product is not the litter itself, but with Petco. Seems like they're always out of stock of this litter either online or through local pick-up. Even with repeat delivery, I can't seem to either get in time or be told that my order will have to be cancelled due to no existing inventory. Typically forced to go outside of Petco to purchase a bag, which I would prefer not to do...

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good litter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this was a good litter in the sense my cat liked it and it clumped. The only thing I didn't Like was it being scent free. I didn't think that would make a difference but it definitely did. I'm going to be sticking with the fragrance litters.
