This is a cute and fun Halloween costume for my cat. It is easy to put on and since it is similar to wearing a harness, she tolerates wearing it compared to other costumes. The Velcro allows some room for adjustment too. The bright mermaid colors are fun too.

This costume was pretty durable with the stitching and velcro, were I didn’t have to worry about the outfit undoing itself or falling apart if I had issues getting it on my pet. The details were there in the shells and tail design along with being shinny. I ended up with a much smaller size than I planned for as the sizing is true to size. The outfit size I purchased would have been good for a few small kitten. It also came off the packaging pretty easy without tearing the fabric.

This Mermaid Cat Halloween Costume from Bootique is absolutely adorable. The iridescent scales catch the light, making for perfect Halloween pictures. The only problem is the size. I ordered an XS, which is meant to fit a kitten. I plan to order another one in Medium. I received these products for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. The Bootique Mermaid Cat Costume surpassed my expectations. The product is beautifully colored and durable. With a velcro strap for around the neck and one around the mid-section the costume is also secure and will not cause your pet to trip. I got the XS size and definitely should have sized up for a small. The neck strap fit but the midsection strap could not close. Regardless my cat, who is usually not a fan of clothes did enjoy her new “mermaid cape” and enjoys playing with it when she is not wearing it.

"I'm not a mermaid, I'm a mercat!" This costume fits our cat really well, and looks good too. It wasn't hard to get on the cat though the cat wasn't in love with wearing it. This costume is great for an under the sea themed Halloween party. Just be wary of how your cat feels about you afterwards.

Adorable costume!! Fits well, super cute. Nice material! Very well made. Fits a small cat perfectly, would even fit a bunny or something smaller! Cute and vibrant colors. Velcro is nicely made and strong
