I was actually surprised how much my cats love this wand toy. It really has it all though, it’s colorful, has feathers, and it crinkles! My boy plays hard and the feathers are still on this thing (which is surprising). Rod & string are a good length too. 10/10 toy!

I received this product for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. This cat toy got my old senior tuxedo in hunt mode. Postive attributions include, vibrant colors, an interactive/bonding experience, a playtime that helped reduce boredom and an opportunity to sharpen those hunting skills. The organic catnip was a hit and well received. Measurements are approximately pole 18", toy attachment 7" and the string 13". This leads me into the negatives. For me the 13" string was way too short. I had to really crouch /bend to reach my cat and bounce the stick. The toy itself is contructed of mostly glue, visible strings of adhesive and globs of dried glue are visible throughout. This glue stick is not very durable and will not last long in my cats routine. Chardonnay is still active at 15 years old, he is a 100% indoor cat and has all his nails in tact. His claws kept getting stuck in the felt. It was difficult for my cat to come loose from the toy. The label also reads the colors may transfer. This cat toy was a no go for me.

I received this toy in exchange for my review. My old cat had no interest in this toy. I think a younger cat or kitten would enjoy it. I plan on giving this toy to a friend for their kitten. It is well made.

It seems my cats like this toy, but everything new is interesting to cats isn't it? Bonus that it's a string toy, they are particularly drawn to those. I would have liked it more if it was longer. My son likes to run through the house, dragging it behind for them to chase, so it's not always on the floor if he doesn't hold it down some. Good mixture of texture to it, the feather tail is a winner.
