The harness around the neck is a bit high, kind of like a turtle neck. So it places the wings on the neck instead of the back for my dog. I got her a large which is her typical size.

The fit is weird, and it’s not adjustable enough. My dog, who wears a harness every day does not like how the neck fits. The harness is too short, so it digs into her front legs a little. Because there is only one buckle, it is inconvenient to put on. My dog is a 35# six month old golden retriever, and I bought her a L-XL. It is almost too small for her.

Small for something marked L/XL - maybe for a dog under 25 lbs

These butterfly wings are attached to a harness and are sooo cute. They make for an easy and comfortable Halloween costume! My dog was a little bit too chubby for them but they would be perfect for a skinnier dog.

Unfortunately, this was too small for my 25lb goldendoodle, but would be perfect for a smaller sized dog. The quality is great, the style is cute, and it would be perfect for Halloween. The clip on harness would make it easy to put on your pup.

This is a very cute low effort costume for my dog. It’s well made. I followed the sizing instructions but I find the fit a bit awkward for my dog. There are 2 straps that wrap around the dog, the one around the chest is adjustable but the one up by the neck is not adjustable and this is where it doesn’t fit well on my dog. If this were also adjustable, it would fit well.

Beautiful butterfly harness. It is sturdy and well made, and the straps are adjustable to an extent. Make sure to measure your dog thoroughly for the right fit. The butterfly wings are so cute and perfect for halloween.

Sadly, I will likely have to return this. I technically got it on my dog but I could see panic in her face because it was SO tight she could not move, so I quickly removed it. I am not sure why they made the collar piece so wide instead of placing the wings down the back a little (instead of placing them on the neck). It's actually well made otherwise and it's really cute. I thought about trying to modify it to keep the butterfly wings but add some spacing to the collar piece, but I don't think it's worth that to me. I may just try to make something myself that is not so constricting. My dog is a 70lb German shepherd mix, and I would describe her neck as skinnier than average. She's not stocky and she has a sport coat (short hair). The LG/XL measurements are correct for her, but it's as though they designed this on a mannequin and didn't plan for the dog to move around in it. It's also possible it would fit a dog better that holds its head up more, but my shepherd tends to hold her neck parallel to the ground.
