Costume was probably the easiest one to put on my Shihtzu, especially since it’s already hard to get him to wearing most clothing and costumes are harder for him. The butcher costume is a combination of scary yet creative and unique for my lil guy. He did not try to remove the costume which is a first for us. I plan to reuse this costume. We appreciate the opportunities to try different products and provide our reviews.

Overall, this costume checked all the boxes for my stout American Shepherd. It could have been a little bit longer but it worked out just fine for her. I only wish the velcro was a little stronger on the meat toys that adorn the collar. A couple good shakes and they end up flying off of it and when we're at home it's not a problem. I'll probably just throw a couple of stitches in and add them to the apron when we go out trick or treating with her.

Due to availability, had to order a small/medium which only fit my 20 lb puppy but she looked so adorable! The “meat” links were held together with Velcro so when she saw them dangling around her neck, of course, she grabbed one. It released easily and didn’t cause any sort of a choke hazard. Construction was good -the apron was easy to put on and remove. Graphics were good - you could tell what it was supposed to be. Put it on my pup and tried to go for a walk but the meat links kept swaying back and forth, resulting in a constant twisting to try to grab them making an uncomfortable walk LOL. Trick or Treating may be difficult unless you remove the meat chain.

The butcher costume was super cute on my golden retriever! The design is funny and definitely got a lot of laughs. The only thing is the size ran a little small for him, but it still worked and looked great. Overall, it’s a fun and creative Halloween costume — I’d just recommend sizing up if you have a bigger dog.

I like how unique this costume is. I have never seen a pet dressed as a butcher before. It is comfortable and a dog is more likely to keep this costume on compared to some others. I will say that it tends to run small. My dog is 36 pounds and fits a large/extra large.

Very cute costume. Image is sublimated on. All parts are held together with velcro. Fabric is thin and wrinkles easily, but the design is flat so easy to iron out if needed. My costume arrived missing one of the meat props on the neckpiece (you can see the empty velcro spot) so account for all parts when buying it.
