I had two of these. I got rid of them because pee leaked out the joints where thr top meets the bottom. I have a 20lb cat that sometimes pees up the wall of the box. Was very messy when I discovered the leaking issue. Loved the boxes though.

Awfull!! Only had for three days and pee leaks out from where the two pieces join together and runs down the stairs/ramp entrance. Store will not let me return. Biggest waste of $50 ever…only had for three days.

I have this and the cats love it!!!!! Keeps odors in and hides messy litter!

Urine leaks out between the cracks, getting onto the floor. It gets on the tracks too, which drips when I pick it up.

We needed a litter box that our dogs could not get into. Sounds icky and it is. When placed correctly with a heavy plant holding it in place, it worked. My dogs are around 50 pounds. I hope this helps other multiple pet households.

I have had the same Booda for 15 years. I do use a liner inside and I do not use scoop able litter and haven’t used the filters in it for years and years. I specify to give a fair review. I will be ordering a new one only because of after all of the years of use by 1 and sometimes 2 cats (the outside cat in inclement weather) the plastic has begun to take on a smell. I cannot recommend it enough! I have forgotten to change it before and it lasted for 2 weeks! I have had many visitors be in the room with the voids and never realize I even had a cat.

I purchased a Booda clean step litter box in 2004 for a cat I had at the time. When he passed away I got rid of the box. I now have a Maine Coon and the litter box I was using did not have a cover and the dust from the litter was overwhelming so I decided to purchase another Booda clean step litter box. This box is not made of the same type of hard plastic as the previous one I purchased in 2004. This one is like a cheap imitation of the previous litter box. I do not like it as it is hard to get the lid back on properly and takes several attempts to do so. I would not purchase this litter box again.

I have had the same problem here as other people. This litterbox may work for smaller cats but my cat (a healthy average sized tabby) uses this box and pee always leaks out between the lid and bottom. Everything I've researched says this means it's too small for the cat but they boast about it being 50% larger than most boxes. I think the lid to tray design just isn't great for bags. We've decided to try a new box.
