The litter box is fine. The experience getting it was not good. I looked at the litter box on your website and on Amazon. Price was the same, your shipping time was quicker. I was shown a delivery time of 2 days. It has now been 5 days and I am still waiting for it to arrive. I should have gone with Amazon and I will from now on even if the price is a little higher.

The top and bottom pieces don’t fit together securely. I had to modify the top with a Dremel tool just to get the pieces of fit. It’s a poor design. The real Budda
boxes were so much better.

I bought the Dark Grey Box. Since they didn't have on Amazon. Worst decision. Took a week. 2 days prior before I leave on vacation with my kitten. They only sent me top half. No steps, no vent cushion. Now they won't reimburse. I'm out $60. Don't buy from Petco. Love Booda boxes. But now I have to pay for another plus overnight delivery. So I can be ready to leave in 2 days for my vacation with my kitten

Pee Leaks Out The Joints

I had two of these. I got rid of them because pee leaked out the joints where thr top meets the bottom. I have a 20lb cat that sometimes pees up the wall of the box. Was very messy when I discovered the leaking issue. Loved the boxes though.

Awfull!! Only had for three days and pee leaks out from where the two pieces join together and runs down the stairs/ramp entrance. Store will not let me return. Biggest waste of $50 ever…only had for three days.

Is the Booda Clean Step recommended for an elderly cat? Are the stairs a problem? I'm wondering if my 20 year old cat will like this dome. Are the stairs and the dome too much to take in at this age?

Is this litter box dog proof?
- There aren't any clasps to keep the lid on. So if your dog is likely to nudge off the lid, then no, not doggie-proof. However, the way the stairs lead into the litter pan will keep a larger dog from sticking his head in.

Can you use it without the lid? What does it look like without the lid? My mom's cat is really old and has a stiff back leg. Looking for something easy for her to get in and out of...never had a lid before so that is not needed. Thanks.
- Thank you for your inquiry. If your mother's cat has a stiff back leg, this unit may not be the best as it has stairs. However we have another hooded litter pan that we manufactured purposely with a low front and wide entrance for older cats in mind. For cats that aim high? Does it keep the urine inside? This guy tries to cover the walls inside the box with his scent and sometimes shoots it out the doorway even. Anybody have experience like this?
- Absolutely DO NOT purchase this if your cat aims high. One of my cats gets in this box, steps into the litter, and ends up urinating right down into the ramp. If you don't want to clean up pooled urine, don't get this box for any cat who aims high when they pee.
