Hey there! I've got a large Ragdoll (we think) cat that is roughly 10 years old who stopped using his litterbox for anything other than urine starting about 6 weeks ago. Always at night, when we're asleep, usually every 2-4 days, he goes on a binge poop, dropping of "presents" (ranging from hard/dry to wet/soft) on our front porch mat, my office rug, the hardwood floors along a wall, by the litterbox, on the rug by his feeder. No changes to clean litter situation or diet in over a year.
I have an older cat 15 years old female and drinking less than normal water that I change daily and constipated and have switched to dry food with no grains and one small can of wet per day. Looking for constipation solution when more water not an option.
I have a pitbull/bulldog mix that stays outside who is allergic to cedar bedding and pine is there a hypoallergenic bedding for outside animals?
I have trained my dog use a liter box when we are not outside the thing is if I take her out of her enclosure she will poop anywhere she wants on the fooor even thoe the box is their the enclosure is big enough for her bed a some space for her to play and then have her litter box she will poop in the box but if she is out she won’t go in the box and will poop anywhere and also if I make her space bigger as in her enclosure if I make it big enough for her to run wont use the box what can I do
My puppy recently needed his anal glands expressed. I had him on grain free diet for a few months. But was recommended to switch him back to regular high fiber dog food. Looking for a high quality dog food without by products in it for my pup. What are some dry food brands you recommend? Besides Purina. Is blue buffalo, holistic select good? More suggestions. Thanks!
So my dog keeps peeing in her kennel. I have started making more frequent potty breaks and that has helped some. But she still has accidents about twice a week. So I have thought about getting her a smaller kennel. She is in a 42’’ wire kennel. She can lay in a ball in the corner of it and not take up much room. She is too tall for a smaller kennel. What should I do? Also she had had all her bloodwork done and nothing is wrong. She is 30’’ tall and 30’’ long.
I want to crate train my 1 year old dog. I bought a "medium" crate for her , shes 25 lbs - aussie/dashund mix so shes kind of long shaped. The measurments on the box are for a dog even taller/wider than mine... but the crate doesnt really seem big enough for her to turn around in (unless she kind of squirmed up into a circle). Do you think I need to buy a larger crate? Why does the size on the box say its good for the dog's size.. / ?

my 1 year old cat spray my and my boyfriends laundry baskets. Later on, I found poop in my basket. These baskets are close to my bedroom closet. Factors: this afternoon, my boyfriend and I did a deep clean of the litter boxes. We emptied each hooded box and sprayed and wiped down every side. We didn’t know what happened until after we did this. Other factor: I came home from an oddities convention and brought home a skunk pelt. I put it in my closet so the cats wouldn’t get it. My kitten is the anxious type in general. Today I decided to buy a litter box with a hood and door because she makes a mess in her other grey litter box despite having a large mat to capture the excess litter. I tried removing the lid for her so she can get used to it. What could I do to help her use her new litter box?
