my 17 yr. old 5 # Pomeranian (neutered male) has to wear a male wrap, due to frequent wetting in the house... but can wriggle out of it...I found the Vet's Best Perfect Fit ...which sounds like it would work well, but I need a liner that is really absorbent to put in it... Ok so I have an issue. Its getting cold here and we are looking at some very heavy snow this year. All three of our dogs are rather thin coated. The older two refuse to potty outside if its too cold. Would sweaters help? Also the youngest is less than two pounds (tiny chihuahua mix) and even though he's not allowed outside yet we like 2 to 4 inches above our floor tend to get cold no matter what temperature we keep the house at how can I help him stay warm?
My lab has really dry skin after shedding her coat
Sophie was just a year old. She is a tiny cocker spaniel (18 pds) and she is brown and white. She has developed dry skin with flaking on her brown fur only. It is softer and finer than her white fur. How do I treat this? Dandruff shampoo? I presently bath her with baby bath followed by a conditioner. What should I bath her with? anything additional ? I give her dog probiotic in her food as well as omega capsule in her food. Food is Pure Balance from Walmart-1st product salmon,peas. No grain.
