Sophie was just a year old. She is a tiny cocker spaniel (18 pds) and she is brown and white. She has developed dry skin with flaking on her brown fur only. It is softer and finer than her white fur. How do I treat this? Dandruff shampoo? I presently bath her with baby bath followed by a conditioner. What should I bath her with? anything additional ? Collar training My 14 week papillon is tiny just over 2lbs. The smallest harness does not fit. I began collar and leash during potty pad time, then keeping on and off for periods yesterday. Of course she bites and plays with the leash, causing it to be more of a potty training distraction than tool. The collar, right sized no dangles made of nylon, seems to irritate her skin. She itches it constantly. Is this hurting her skin or part of getting used to the collar?
I have a small dog that we rescued 2 years ago. She is about 4 years old, we think she is part Papillon and part Cocker Spaniel, and she weighs 8 pounds. Recently the skin on her belly has been very scaley/dry. We have never seen these symptoms on her until yesterday.
