Whats the best flea collar money can buy for 10lb dogs
earlier today we had a horrible freak accident with my 2 month old kitten. she was wearing her kitten collar that was fitted for her little neck but she somehow got her bottom jaw stuck on her collar and immediately freaked out meowing in terror and scream cries. thank god i was with her. we got it off thankfully and she's 100% ok but there was blood. turned out it was my blood bc her fang sliced my finger. Anyways, is this a common occurrence in pets and should i ever put a collar back on her?
We have three feral kittens about 4 months old living in our backyard. We have a feral kitten from the same litter that we rescued from near death and are raising indoors. He has kitten revolution on him. The feral kittens are vaccinated and neutered. We like to let Whitey out to play with them while we supervise as he is driving our 3 older cats crazy. My question is: will flea collars on the outdoor kittens reduce Whitey's exposure to fleas? The more expensive meds are out of the question.
Can I bring my cat to petco to get fitted for a harness and leash
I have an elderly cat, 19-ish, tiny, 5-6 lbs. The flea collar we used to use stopped working. We got a Seresto, it nearly killed her, she stopped eating for a couple of days and got very lethargic. We removed it and she bounced back. I need a suggestion for flea control. We are afraid to use the kind you apply to the neck after Seresto… you can’t take the liquid back off like a collar.
Hello, i want to know what breed is this kitten? also he has some white hair on his black hair, and in his chest its white two? will it grow more and effect his colour as black?
Collar training My 14 week papillon is tiny just over 2lbs. The smallest harness does not fit. I began collar and leash during potty pad time, then keeping on and off for periods yesterday. Of course she bites and plays with the leash, causing it to be more of a potty training distraction than tool. The collar, right sized no dangles made of nylon, seems to irritate her skin. She itches it constantly. Is this hurting her skin or part of getting used to the collar?
I got my cat a flea collar since theyre pretty bad in my area. She was born sometime in early-mid october. Is it safe for her to wear the flea collar it specifically says it can be used on kittens. I'm just an over protective cat dad
I recently purchased the Pulvex tick and flea collars for my cats. I prefer the collar over the drops because they immediately run out and brush it off in the sand- not good for white cats especially. However, my cat tends to lick her collar while grooming herself. I cut off any excess collar and made a reasonable tightness but she can still reach it. She doesn't seem to be reacting to the collar is terms of skin irritability. Does "pet friendly" mean safe for occasional licks or is it harmful?
My cat has some hair loss along her bottom neck line with a little big of spots, she's an indoor cat and has never been outdoors. We live in an apartment build, she's not itching or grooming more than normal - the hair loss is only along her collar line but she's worn a collar her whole life (she's 8). I'm not suspecting mites or ringworm, could it just be worn our from the collar? The vets in Toronto are super expensive, so I'm trying to avoid going!
My cat has this one red mark under his neck. I believe he did not like the fact that he had a collar on and his nails are sharp and he clawed at his skin. Please inform me what you believe is wrong with the cat. I first noticed the mark on March 4th. Today the mark looks increasingly worse. (Both pictures are included) I took off the collar is there anything else recommended to treat the skin
