Health & WellbeingMy cat ate a dishcloth. Should I feed him or wait for him to vomit?
Hello. Unfortunately, this is going to be a waiting game to see if he still has some of the washcloth in his stomach & he may vomit it up or it will pass through his digestive tract. I do not think you need to worry about the soap. If it has not made him sick by now, it probably was not enough to cause a problem. But the cloth could, especially if it passes into his intestines & is unable to move. This will cause a blockage. Feed him as normal & hopefully the food will help things to pass. If at any time Kage loses his appetite, becomes lethargic, vomits multiple times or just seems uncomfortable in general, you will need to see your vet for additional diagnostics & treatments. Fingers crossed that everything passes throgh without incident. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.
