Naturally fresh multi-cat clumping litter is one of the best litters I have ever used. It clumps well and there is much less scent from my cats when using it.

Almost perfect

I was more impressed with it than I thought I would be. The clumping and odor control is actually pretty good. It has a very noticeable dirt smell but obviously natural, so that’s fine. Volume wise, 14 lbs of this generously filled out our litter box compared to around 20-25 lbs of clay, so that was really great. The problem is that it is a little dusty and made me sneeze a few times, and when given another choice, my cats completely ignored this litter. I want to give up on clay and silica litter, so I’m going to try other options. If I had no other reasonable choice I would reconsider this one and hope my cats get used to it. If it was less dusty it would be perfect. I haven’t tried corn yet, but in comparison to grass seed, the grass seed was virtually dust-free but it tracked so badly and seemed to run out quicker. I think I prefer naturally fresh walnut litter because it lasts longer and tracks less.

Yes, I recommend this product.

DISGUSTING DO NOT BUY

I bought this a month ago… AWFUL. It does not hold Oder for poop…. It’s so disgusting. Mind you I’m cleaning out the litter at least 3 times and for no odor to stay in the house it seems like you have to clean each time your cat poops… awful very terrible. I will say the pee I cannot smell at all I was surprised about that. It really sucks that most litters hold pee well but not poop at all. I’m very disappointed I really wanted to like this litter. On top of the non-odor control, it tracks everywhere…. When I say everywhere I mean everywhere… if I could rate this a zero I would. I really tried to look past the negative reviews and give this litter a chance but maybe if you see bad reviews you should really take it for what it is.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A friend told me to try this litter and I did. I have fostered kittens for a rescue for 5 years and I have 18 cats now with 4 fosters. Litter is important to me and my cat family. This is the best litter I have ever used. Its is dustless and controls order and clumps great. I buy it all the time now. It is pricier than some of the others but you use less. Try it you have to love it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Did they change the formula on this litter. I have been buying this for years now and this last batch i got it doesnt want to clay together. It just falls all apart now. If they have changed it i will be looking for a new litter going forward.

  1. I am having the same problem. All of a sudden it doesn’t clump and the wet litter breaks apart and ruins the entire box. I just bought a new bag - If I have the same problem I will be lokking for a new litter.

Is this litter compostable?

  1. Yes - walnut shells

Does anyone know if this litter contains sodium bentonite?

  1. 100% walnut shells

Are Walnut Shells safe for Cats ?

  1. Thank you for your question. Black walnut shells are toxic. This product is not made from black walnut shells and is safe for cats.

Is this litter safe for young kittens, in case they ingest some of it?

  1. We have rescued several pregnant mother cats to make sure they have a safe environment to give birth, and raise their kittens until they're old enough to be adopted. We use this brand litter and the box is always in the same room as the mother and the babies. There has never been a health aversion to their exposure, or use of this litter. We have never experienced any of the kittens or mothers trying to eat the litter (out of the bag, box, or otherwise).

Is the Blue litter flushable?

  1. I'm not an expert, but I have been told that no litter is truly flushable regardless of their claims. Any of them can build up in your plumbing and cause problems over time (I was told this by a plumber). Having said that, I used the corn-based flushable litter for about a 5-month period of time while I was training my cats to use the toilet and have had no related plumbing problems yet. But once the one cat was trained (the other one never got the hang of it) I stopped putting any litter down the toilet.
