My cat is a picky eater. I've tried feeding her so many different types of food and she has settled on Blue Buffalo dry food. As a kitten I tried feeding her high quality wet food but she only ever wanted fancy feast gravy lovers. For over a year now she's been fed just that but over the last few weeks she's only been licking off the gravy. I want her to eat wet food as well because I know that's how they keep hydrated? My male cat is almost 14. I know he is starting kidney problems due to the extra water he drinks at this point. and a bit thinner. lots of energy still. I read they need at least 50% protein, I give him wet and dry which i know is not good, but lots of wet and freeze dried chicken too, vit with dig enzymes.
