My 8 y/o male cat had his first bout of cystitis a few weeks ago, my vets only solution was to give Rx food (Hills, Royal Canin or ProPlan) these all have fish products in them (even non fish flavors) and my cat is allergic. They have no other suggestions and said he will have another issue if he's not on that food. I've read about Wysong Uretic wet food, Wysong Biotic ph- supplement, Cystease, Tinkle Tonic, etc - would anything else work as an alternative? PLEASE HELP!
What’s the best cat food I can give to my cat? She’s a Bombay and is 2 years, 5 months and she really likes chicken and turkey flavors. I tried Rachel Ray, natural balance and she dosent like there wet food for some reason?
I have an older cat 15 years old female and drinking less than normal water that I change daily and constipated and have switched to dry food with no grains and one small can of wet per day. Looking for constipation solution when more water not an option.
I have two cats, a 7 year old and an 11 year old. I've been giving them a mix of three types of dry food (Science Diet urinary health, Blue Buffalo healthy aging, and Blue Buffalo Indoor hairball control mature). Is this a good idea to mix these three together in their bowls? I just want them to get the benefits from these products as well and not get tired/develop an allergy from just one type of food constantly. Thank you!
Hi I have a male cat one and half years old and i want a good dite for him what can i cook to him feed him by the way he had a urine infection and i cut out the dry food only chicken and lots of water . And i wanted to ask what couse urine infection?? And what can i do to preventing that from comeing agine Thank you for your time
my 12 year old cat was recently diagnosed with early stages of kidney disease. i had her eating the dry food from Hills K/D and she was ok with that. Then i moved her to the wet food because she stopped eating the dry. now she’ll eat the wet food for a day or so and then refuses. the only food she never misses a meal is fancy feast pate and blue buffalo healthy gourmet pate. i know commercial food isn’t great, but are either of these foods near the percentile a kidney cat needs?
What makes urinary formulated cat wet food work so much more than regular grain free wet food?
What are the best ways to reduce the risk of urinary issues in cats?
Is Royal Canin Urinary SO wet and dry cat food the best option for treating a cat with crystals? I’ve heard some bad things about it and some good. My cat doesn’t really like it but the vet suggested he eat THIS brand only.. which happens to be the most expensive
For cats with FIC, what is the best diet? I’m am giving her C/D wet with fish oil and kibble, but she still shows signs of discomfort. I wonder if the fish oil is throwing off the pH of the diet. Her symptoms are licking the urethra and obsessive grooming that occur sporadically it seems. The kibble is actually half C/D and half Royal Canine Adult Indoor. The high fiber in they kibble prevents her from getting anal sac abcesses. Thank you for your help.
Can you please recommend a diet for a cat with Feline pancreatitis, currently feeding Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Sensitivity Control Wet food. He only eats wet food.
What would be the best wet dog food for her weighing 3.3 lbs. 4 years and has Periodontal desease? And can I purchase at Petco or Petsmart? Thank you
