My dog has been on a grain free soy free and chicken free food for about 8 months, He is 3 and has been gaining weight. He eats about 1/2 can of food twice a day and maybe a handful of dry food in between. He is never been a very active dog. He is part beagle and part chihuahua. He does have mostly a beagle body Short legs and long body Other than weight, he is healthy. What type of dog food would he need to lose weight

Hi! I am considering changing Addyâs food over to Taste of the Wild High Prairee puppy food. Itâs grain free and has lean proteins and a 28% protein content. Currently she is on Blue Buffalo large breed puppy food that has whole grains. She is experience soft stool in the evening. I believe this may be from her food? Blue Buffalo is chicken based, and she does drink lots of water. She just had a vet appt, no presence of parasites in her stool. Any recommendations?
Due to the recent FDA research on grain free food I am looking into switching my Shih Tzu/Maltese mix from Whole Earth farms grain free to something different. What would you recommend is a good, healthy brand for a small breed dog who is 4 and does not have any health issues. Thank you
I am getting an 8 week Cocker Spaniel. I am not new to Cocker Spaniel, just puppy versions. I want to try a new food for her, and need suggestions. I did research & came across these dry foods: Merrick Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Merrick Limited Ingredient Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Taste of Wild Pacific Stream Grain Free Smoked Salmon, Taste of Wild Appalachian Valley Small Breeâs Grain after Roasted Venison. Are any of those good, if so which one? Want to stay chicken free.
So heâs had two physicals last year, the first one he was 8.6 pounds and then the second he was 8.2 pounds. Heâs lost a lot of weight and I feel like heâs still too skinny and weâve switched between like four different dog food and he doesnât seem to have an appetite. He eats a little bit but I was wondering if there is anything I can do to help him eat more and gain his healthy weight back. Right now heâs eating Caesar dry filet mignon flavour dog food.
I have a German Shepherd and she is one month old. I am really unsure what dry food to get her. What is better: Purina Pro focus, Blue Wilderness, American journey, or taste of the wild? Should I get grain-free and large breed? If any other ones are suggested let me know.
I'm looking for a high quality limited ingredient diet with sodium levels between 0.3-0.5% dry matter basis maximum. Can someone recommend a brand to me? thanks!
