We have been giving our maltipoo freedom small breed his whole life, Recently I see the recipe has changed, the bag now says chicken with peas and potatoes. I want to know if it has always been with peas and potatoes? Or is this a recent change?
- My pug is 4 1/2 and this is the only food we have ever fed her, as far as I know this has always had peas and potatoes in it. Peas are a vegetable and Potatoes aren't a grain either, so it's still a grain free food. They have more limited diet foods, to look into, if it's a concern for you though!

What is the difference btwn Blue Freedom and Blue Wilderness?
- Freedom is the only blend with no grains, gluten or preservatives. Both have same great nutrition. Wilderness is close to what the canines would eat in the wild.

Hey guys, I’m slowly transitioning my dogs over to adult food but they are still getting their puppy food. Mia always has some kind of allergy so I was looking into getting BLUE Basics® Grain-Free Salmon & Potato Recipe For Adult Dogs but it doesn’t have any chicken or poultry by-product meals, corn, wheat, soy, dairy or eggs. Hi! I am considering changing Addy’s food over to Taste of the Wild High Prairee puppy food. It’s grain free and has lean proteins and a 28% protein content. Currently she is on Blue Buffalo large breed puppy food that has whole grains. She is experience soft stool in the evening. I believe this may be from her food? Blue Buffalo is chicken based, and she does drink lots of water. She just had a vet appt, no presence of parasites in her stool. Any recommendations?

Weight Loss in Dogs: i have 2 Chihuahua's who have been on a diet with no results. The 1st dog weighs 10 lbs and should 5 to 6 lbs. The 2nd dog weighs 20lbs and should weigh 12 to 14 pounds. This is according to the Vet. We feed them Blue Buffalo Healthy Weight and Fresh Pet. Dog 1 gets 15 grams of each, Dog 2 gets 40 grams dry and 25 wet. Both are fed 2 time a day. The dogs willnot walk or any type of actual exercise.
