BB Care Shares

Zaza Baby

Know what my ZaZa Baby is eating. Real ingredients and šŸ˜‹ morsels. Our family has only used BB our oldest only preferred salmon šŸ£ and the Baby. Chicken. With other brands that use by-products, I don’t think taste can be distinguished between proteins, which BB corners the market. Thank you for sharing your care.

My cat has a kidney issue. The prescription formula our vet suggested is one she does NOT like. Also very pricey. I found Blue Buffalo Tastefuls Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe for Indoor Adult Cats by accident. Decided when I read it helps with Kidney care that I would try it. Holy cats! She loves it! I will NEVER go back to the other brand!

We have three house cats that simply devour the Blue Buffalo Tastefuls Chicken & Brown rice recipe. We have been buying it for quite some time now. It is the only cat food that they will eat

Inefficient taking care of the hairball issue.

We use the hairball formula. We have 8 cats, 7 use eat this food and they all like it. However, it doesn't work as well as the Iams in that they are still puking up hairballs whereas the Iams passes through the other end (which is preferred). Unfortunately, 1of the 7 cats has a sensitive tummy but this works well for him. Kind of pricey in my opinion for not taking care of the hairball problem that I'm paying for. Disappointed.

We kitties are disappointed in Blue since you've changed the packaging. There's not as many blue berries, and it seems to upset our tummies more than before. Sadly this is the only food we will eat. We are the picky ones in the house. Mom and Dad try to make us happy by getting us the food we love. Pweeees tey to add more blue berries Thank you SpookyDemon and Shadow

Questions

1 - 10 of 14 Questions
Sort by: Newest Answers

Does the cat need wet food too? Can it transition to just dry food.?

  1. Our vet does not recommend solely feeding dry food to our cats. We feed mainly wet food. Probably 75% wet/25% dry food on a daily basis We keep the dry and wet foods in separate bowls.

How many calories per cup of food? (INDOOR) Is this a serving for a 19 lb. cat?

IS THIS A SOFT CAT FOOD

    1. no but Blue Buffalo does have soft can food

Have they changed the formula on the Indoor Health product ? My two cats have been on this product for years but refuse to eat the last bag I purchased. They simply sniff the bowl of food and walk away.

we have 3 indoor cats - they throw up almost daily

      1. I use the pink sensitive stomach now for both of my cats. They used to eat most any food I put down but would walk away when done and hork it back up. Now I have no throw up issues at all

can you use kanaplex on saltwater fish also.

      1. Yes.

What cat food does not contain wheat or soy? Does the Blue Buffalo have this?

      1. Blue Buffalo does have this. It is their selection of food called "Freedom". It is free from all grains. Blue "Wilderness" is another option.

what is a good dry cat food to help prevent shedding?

      1. All cats shed. The best way to manage it is by brushing your cat regularly. If the cat is shedding to the point where he or she is getting bald spots, it needs to be seen by a veterinarian to determine the cause. If your cat has allergies or fleas, they will lick/dig to the point where severe fur loss occurs. The same with ear mites in the area around the ears neck and face. Normal shedding though is just part of owning a cat. We have a long haired white cat, in good health, but we have to brush her constantly, not only to prevent long white fur all over the house but to prevent her fur from knotting, especially in the spring when the shedding begins in earnest.

my cat is diabetic & receives insulin shots. which food might be best? vet science diet smaller bag for so much more money i just can't afford it.

      1. You should go with your veterinarian's recommendation to keep your cat as healthy as possible. First, contact your local shelter, rescue group or humane society. Many of these groups have programs that distribute free cat food and dog food to those in need. The best place for your cats and dogs is with you, so they will do what they can to help you keep your pets.

My vet wants us to change to Science Diet CD for our cat that has trouble with stones in kidneys. Is there a blue buffalo that is just as good?

      1. Science diet is garbage. Do a google search on it. It's really not much better than cheap cat food you can buy at any store. I've done the research n it isnt good. Stick with blue. My cats all seem to love it. I had switched to Diamond but as the bag went on they just dont seem to like it that well. I have a small bag of the blue for indoor adult cats & all of them like it. I'm going to wait till I've fully switched before committing though. From what I have read 3 of the first 5 ingredients should be meat. Especially the first.
