Are these bits small like the ones in the Blue Buffalo Life Protection Blue Indoor Health Adult Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe
- Yes, these pieces are very small, and conducive to the small mouth that cats have. My cat used to have a difficult time getting food down because the pieces were just too big for them to pick up and swollow. The pieces used to just fall out of their mouths and it was frustrating for them. I bought this brand and also an orthopedic raised feeding center (as one of my cats also had a problem with throwing up his food) And now with the bowl (raised and angled for his height) along with the small pieces of food, he doesn't have any problems with eating and keeping it down! This combo has been a lifesaver for us!

what is the weight of this bed?

Depending on the enthusiasm used when jumping up or down, and the size of the dogs, the beds could move. How long can oils sit on food uneaten before it goes rancid? My cats are not going to be happy about this change.
- Thank you for your question. We reached out to the manufacturer for assistance with your question, and they provided the following information: It is not ideal for oil to sit on food for hours, as the oxygen will hasten rancidity. Also, in the transition with omega oils with cats, sometimes it works best to introduce the oil on a dish by itself, just before you feed them, rather than mix with food ( and possibly waste it, or confound the cats with a new flavor in their food). If they eat wet or raw food in one sitting, best to apply oil to wet food or raw diets.

Does this help with shedding?
- I lived with my beautiful Poodle for nearly 16 years before she passed away suddenly from heart condition. I never had any dog hair in my house, Poodles are incredibly clean and neat. Now, I have a Min. Rat Terrier and she sheds. There is hair on my clothes, my rugs, in my car, everywhere! Am I happy about? NO!!! But, it's not her fault. I ordered Nordic Naturals Omega 3 and started her on it with her breakfast meal. Her coat seems to have improved, she's shiny and pretty, but the shedding remains the same, this product has NOT helped with her shedding. Some dogs shed, some do not. You either agree to have dog hair in your home, on your clothes....or....don't have a dog that sheds.

Is there a dosage amount listed on larger bottles for small - 20 lb dogs- I would like to buy a larger bottle so it lasted longer!
- Yes, the large bottle does list dosage amounts. I have a 12 lb and a 75 lb dog - and just go by the directions on the large bottle.
