Questions
My small poodle mix rescue is now 7 years and has been on Small Breed Freedom for her adult life. She often picks out the life bits and drops them outside her bowl. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm getting ready to switch her to senior.
- Hi Mistica, You may want to consider switching to senior dog food. Dogs between ages 6 years and 10 years are considered to be seniors. We would also suggest that you check with your dog's vet for advise regarding the food.

What size dog is this food for?

Per the manufacturer recommendations this can be fed to dogs up to 15 pounds, which should be fed 1/2 to 1-1/4 cups daily. What size are the pellets in the blue senior dog food? is it made for small or large dogs?
- They are not very large, about the size of most of their foods but not tiny like their life source bits. I have a 3 lb Yorkie with dental issues and she has not any problem with this food. I just switched to it a month ago. Both of my small dogs like it a lot.

Is Purina pro plan a good food for French bulldogs? Lou is on royan canin gastrointestinal low fat after a case of colitis. Is this to much? Also some reviewers have posted that their dog had more voluminous stool and went more frequently with bits of food still present in the stool. Is this normal? Chloe seems to be doing fine but I am noticing the bits of food in her stool. Is this ok to continue with this food?
Hello, I have a two-year-old Staffordshire mix that weighs 44 lb (20 kg). She is moderately active and currently doing intensive behavioural training. We have her on a daily 1,070 calorie diet (as recommended by another vet) and feel as though she's slightly underweight. Just recused this little guy... very malnourished, just started gaining some weight. He is missing many teeth so eating is a problem, he does he the small bites. Any other food you can recommend for weight gain, older dog with no teeth? Also a treat, maybe something that will dissolve, can he have gerber puffs baby snacks as treats???
I have a male lab 5 months old we had him from 3 months and have been feeding him the same food to date, we feed him twice daily and feed the correct amount of food advised. He has also been worked to date. Our concern is that when he does a number 2 he goes about 3/4 times one after the other, the first being fairly solid and the rest quite sloppy, is the food maybe too rich for him?
