I feed my dog BB Freedom grain free beef. She doesn't like the black pellets. Tried a couple different BB versions but have not found one that doesn't have pellets. Any idea if there is a BB version without them? She picks them out & makes a mess.

Description says "NO chicken or poultry by-product meals" but 2nd ingredient is chicken meal and 7th one is chicken fat. How can there be no chicken?
- Yes there is chicken in it. First ingredient is de-boned chicken. What it says is "No chicken/poultry by-products meals" -meaning they are saying no chicken meal by-products or poultry meal by-products. There is a difference between chicken meal and chicken by-product meal. Chicken meal is the dry rendered product from clean flesh and skin only. Chicken by-product meal includes heads, feet, necks, undeveloped eggs, intestine, entrails & occasionally feathers.

Hey guys, I’m slowly transitioning my dogs over to adult food but they are still getting their puppy food. Mia always has some kind of allergy so I was looking into getting BLUE Basics® Grain-Free Salmon & Potato Recipe For Adult Dogs but it doesn’t have any chicken or poultry by-product meals, corn, wheat, soy, dairy or eggs. Is that even healthy missing all of those food groups? Right now my dogs are on Blue buffalo freedom grain free.
I fed my jack Russell blue buffalo “life protection” for the 17 years I owned her. I’ve continued it with Kalei, and don’t plan to change brands unless you advise different. But I see that there are 4 different blue buffalo foods.”Basics”, “Freedom”, “Life Protection”, and “Wilderness”.
