Currently feeding our 11 y/o medium sized mutt the weight control(yellow bag)Blue Buffalo and wondered if this would work just as well for weight control and possibly be better for her as far as bowel movements?
I have a 42# 3 yr old corgi. I have been feeding him the Adult small bite Blue Buffalo. My vet recomended adding some cut green to help with weight control. Which of your foods is best for him?
- Not a vet but I do like the Blue Buffalo senior formula. We have overweight dogs where we TRY to manage the weight by NOT feeding on demand, no table scraps, pick up bowl before days end, at least two 15/20 min walks/day. They make up for their “starvation” by eating dirt, worms, trash outside yet they are still healthy.

- I had a Wheaten Terrier but I do not see why it would not be acceptable for a Doberman.

Can you feed this to younger dogs as well
- Can you or should you? BB like most dog food companies make puppy and senior foods for good reason. Puppy's need more of many ingredients since they are growing, seniors need different Ingredients to fit their unique life stage. I would call Blue Buffalo's Customer Service 1-800 number to get their expert advice. Good luck with BB.

- I have no idea. Jake weighs just under 50 pounds, & we give him 1 cup of food twice a day. That keeps his weight even. Jake has been eating this same food since he was 7 years old--he just turned 12. Our Vet thinks this is a very good brand, & Jake loves it!
