I have a mini australian shepherd who will be 2 years old in December. He's a little bit chunky and wanted to see if this will help with his weight. But I didnt realize this is for large breed..he's a mini Aussie so I'm not sure if I should return this?
Once she looses the weight we want, are you supposed to switch her food or use that same?
- You can continue to use a healthy weight formula to help your dog maintain their healthy weight (there are feeding guidelines on the bag, or you can visit bluebuffalo.com if you've already disposed of the bag). If you feel like your dog wants more variety, you could consider changing the formula, but pay attention to the fat and calories, and watch your dog's weight to ensure that they don't start to gain again.

Two yr old lab is constantly hungry. He is eating six cups dry food. Several months ago he was satisfied with four cups
- Labs will always eat as much as you give them. I have 2 labs, both around 80 lb. One is 6 and the other is 8. They each get about 3 cups a day of lower calorie kibble and a couple of spoonfuls of wet. They maintain their weight well.

my golden has allergies hes 10 and itches alot and a little over weight
- I recommend a wheat free food like Hund n Flocken Solid Gold. Solved my dog's itching problems. As for overweight, feed less, add vegetables like carrots or yams and get out and walk the dog!!!

I have a diabetic lab that will NOT eat diabetic dog food & is losing weight.
- My dog isn't Diabetic, but does have Hypothryoidism. We use the Blue Buffalo large breed weight control for him. As a nurse, I look at all the ingredients and compare the carbohydrates, calories and protein. My dog loved the Blue Buffalo and I add a bit of wet food for extra taste. The Blue Buffalo formula is grain free and uses healthy carbohydrate choices like sweet potato. I would say try either of these depending on the need for weight loss or not.

i have a black lab and a german shepherd/ Pharaoh hound mix. would it be good for them, shepherd is slighlt over weight black lab is not
