Hi I would like to know if anybody had isssued with blue buffalo food I been using it for my dog for years but lately I been finding worms on it and some black insects and I’m afraid i have to stop Feeding it to my dog since he loves it
- I got this tip awhile back...almost all dog food has a larva in it....it takes awhile to actually turn to worms....if you freeze a brand new bad of dog food for 3 days it will kill the larva and you will not have any issues :)

how long do you feed your dog puppy food
- We have 2 rat terrier, got them when the male was 8 weeks and the female was 5 weeks. We started them on blue puppy from day one. Our vet said to keep them on puppy food till their first birthday. Then we transitioned them to “big doggie puppy crunchiest” (that’s what we call their dry food). They have always done extremely well on it and they have been the healthiest dogs we’ve ever had. I think it makes a difference keeping them on the puppy formula for that whole first year

what size is the kibble. I have a 5lb dog with a tiny mouth
- The Chicken and Brown Rice Healthy Weight kibble is pretty small. Unless your dog is really tiny, I would think they would not have a problem with it.
