We have given my dog Blue Buffalo food from the day we brought her home. She is a small dog, so her teeth have been an issue. I tried several different dental bones to help, but after a couple of weeks, they would all make her sick. I don't know why I didn't try these first since they are BB, but they (along with brushing) have been a life changer. Her teeth started clearing up after a few weeks, plus she loves them, and they have never made her sick. We have been giving them to her for a couple of years now.

Very disappointed to learn that these dental bones are not accepted by the Veterinary Oral Health Council to support doggy oral health. I’ll be changing my dogs’ dental routine by no longer purchasing your bones. I may be changing their food too. I gave 3 stars because my dogs love them. But I’m also concerned they’re too hard, besides the VOHC issue.

Blue buffalo's response to Greenies is definitely a comparable product. This should not be used as a sole dental care product. It is very much supplemental and more of a 'guilt free' treat, in my opinion. Does not help as much with tartar but will help with breath!
