Hey guys, I’m slowly transitioning my dogs over to adult food but they are still getting their puppy food. Mia always has some kind of allergy so I was looking into getting BLUE Basics® Grain-Free Salmon & Potato Recipe For Adult Dogs but it doesn’t have any chicken or poultry by-product meals, corn, wheat, soy, dairy or eggs. I have a mature Australian shepherd female who is 8 years old and has had excess protein in her urine. Her vet recommended feeding her a dog food with LOWER protein percentage which is SO HARD TO FIND! I found a Blue Buffalo senior dog food that has 16% crude protein (vs 19, 22, 24% in other dog foods) but recently was advised that Blue Buffalo is not good for dogs.
