Chicken allergy life saver!!!

BeansMommy1997

Please don’t ever stop making this food!! After so much trial and error I found out my cat has a serious chicken allergy that causes rashes and skin nodules. It was almost impossible finding a food without chicken in it. My cat IMMEDIATELY loved this stuff and after a week, his itching has gone down significantly and his rash has begun to improve. I don’t know what I would have done without finding this food

Yes, I recommend this product.

Why does it seem like the formula changes?

I have a cat with an extremely sensitive stomach and she cannot have turkey or chicken products even a little bit will make her have diarrhea for days. I tried a private label turkey and chicken free food, but it seemed Like the formula for the food was inconsistent in every bag. i’ve found that the blue buffalo fish and potato was enjoyed by my cat who is a very picky eater, but over the past few years it seems like the texture changed from being a little moist to being a little dryer and ended up upsetting her stomach for a little while, but she got used to it and we kept feeding it until the most recent bag was a small bag and it smelled chemically where the previous big bag I bought had a pleasant smell at least for me. It was pleasant. It smelled like tea or chocolate. The most recent bag smelled more like chemicals and her stool became very loose and she vomited a few times and the odor of her stools was really really bad with a chemical smell , I’m not sure why the formula has changed. I switched to blue Buffalo because I thought it would be more consistent than the private label bags. Believe me when her stomach gets upset. We are both miserable for at least a week maybe longer. I wish I could figure out how to make sure I purchase Cat food that is consistent even from year to year since I have been using this product for at least two years now and at least two times I have noticed a change in the food and it bothered my cat stomach. Maybe two or three times it’s not a lot over the last couple of years but to me it is too often since we go through several weeks of baths and mess. Please try to keep the formula consistent for pets with sensitive stomachs.

The limited ingredient cat food has wayyyy too many ingredients. How are the ingredients "limited" if there are nearly a thousand? The only thing they limited is the grain, soy + corn that most brands use to fill their products

I had been feeding my cat a vet recommended brand for the past several years and it worked well until he hit about 6 years old. At first, he'd "scarf and barf" (or so I thought), so I changed his feeder to slow him down. Problem solved for about 6 months. Then, it happened again, so I raised his dish higher because I figured it was how he was eating again. Issue rarely happened for a while. Then, he started getting "catne" about a year later. I worked on clearing up his acne, switched him to wet food, and started researching and trying dry foods periodically. THIS FOOD is the first one that has worked so far. No more ralphing, no stinky/dirty bum, no bad breath, no acne. Just a happy boy eating well (and more slowly) like his kitten days. Couldn't be happier!

Yes, I recommend this product.
