Excellent for cats who can't have chicken

I've been feeding this to my 5 cats for probably 6 months now. They had started to show signs of being intolerant of chicken and this was the food that won out in my very long search. They also love the wet food of this kind. I've also tried the turkey. I do have 1 male that has soft poo and I'm thinking it's possibly the high fiber count in this food. But since they absolutely love this food I'm going to try the true solutions perfect skin and coat and start mixing them together. Which has a lower fiber count. I will review that one once they've tried it for awhile. My cats are absolutely gorgeous now. The duck basics has their coats slick, soft and shiny. They have excellent weight and energy. They dive into their bowls. Can't recommend a better food. I go through a 11 pound bag in about 3 weeks or so. I like the smaller sized pieces as I have 2 cats with CH and they are easy for them to pick up and I don't find little pieces all over like what you get when you feed a larger piece food. I will update my review with some photos if I can remember to take some while they are pigging out

All 5 cats love it

I bought this because one of my cats has allergies and so far so good. I have 5 cats and all of them love this food. I tried a different brand of LID duck dry food and twice I had to take her to the vet for medicine because she couldn't urinate. All but one of my cats will walk by the wet food to eat this instead and they really love the wet food, so that's saying something.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Cat loved it but she's unfortunately allergic

Our cat seems to have an allergy to chicken and potentially salmon, so food options for her are pretty limited. She’d been on red-meat-based dry and wet foods, but her poops can be described as weapons-grade for how the smell can clear a room. I figured she might be having trouble digesting something and wanted to change it up. We decided to dry changing out her dry food first, and went with this BB Duck and Potato. I added a sprinkle to her bowl to make sure she liked it before we started the transition - she absolutely loved it and ignored/ate around the old food in her bowl, clearly preferring this. Unfortunately for her, she vomited a few hours afterwards, and her allergy symptoms (itching around face and ears) came right back. So, at least we found out she’s probably allergic to ALL poultry, not just chicken. Not a fault of the food itself, our cat did love it, just not for her! Glad even though I ordered online I can return in store.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Blue Basics grain free duck and potato cat food

Excellent premium grain free cat food. The best part is it is a single protein food, not lots of proteins mixed in. Yes it is very pricey but so worth it because I take cat ownership VERY seriously.

Yes, I recommend this product.
