Is this puppy food for a 5lb 5-month old Chihuahua? Ā I could not find this flavor for the ones specifically made for small breed? Ā
- Although my puppy weighed a bit more than your pup, I did feed her rhe chicken & brown rice recipe. Kali contacted the parvo virus right after buying her from the breeder. This was my vet's recommendation for her stomach. Good puppy food. My suggestion is to order it from the pet store & if this food was recommended by your vet, definitely get it. I don't know if it comes in for small breed .

Depending on how big the lab is expected to be, our Baby BLUE Large Breed Puppy Chicken and Brown Rice recipe may be a better option as it is specifically formulated to meet the needs of large sized dogs (70 lbs or more as an adult). - Chicken by product is different than chicken meal. Google it and you'll see what I mean. This puppy food has chicken meal in it.

What's the difference between baby blue and the regular puppy food?
- I wish I knew. The differences, I think, are minute. Baby blue is marketed towards huminization of our pets whereas Blue Buffalo Puppy Food is part of the nprmal Blue Buffalo line.

Is the size of the kibble ok to use for a 18 week old Westie puppy? I like the fact this recipe has veggies and fruits and would love to have my puppy try it.
