The Black Mollies are a beautiful, easy to care for, vibrant and hardy option for the beginner hobbyist. Males have a pointed anal fin with a larger dorsal fin while female have a rounded anal fin. They prefer harder, alkaline water conditions over acidic and soft water. They can adapt to a variety of salt levels if they are properly acclimated. They are peaceful fish that will do great in community tanks. Be aware that these are livebearers so when adding females and males that you can end up with more than when you started. They are omnivores and will eat just about anything you offer including flakes, pellets and frozen foods.

I want to know if this is a gold fish or gold colored molly? I thought it was a molly until i saw the egg-like substance today morning. Is the third pic an egg or something else (one of my black molly gave birth to 25 live ones today...so, i want to know if it is a part of the fluid while giving birth or an real egg of the orange fish?)
I just bought a marble molly and a silver molly, both are swimming weird. They're swimming with their bodies up towards the top of the water. I have had my water check and its perfect and there are no other fish in the tank. Are they ok? My tank is also a 10 gallon.
Can i get 3 mollies and 1 cory city for cycling my 7 gallon aquarium?

Hello!! I have a 14g tank with a few mollies and danios in there, but something has been bothering me lately. One of my new mollies (male) has a white dot on the tip of his tail and I’m afraid that it’s some kind of disease. What should I do? Thank you for your help!!
Two of our freshwater fish are acting oddly in the water. We did lose a few last night, due to an ammonia spike. We noticed some pale-colored, wormlike flesh dropping from the front area (between the mouth and front fins); this black Guppy is “wobbling” around... We also have an orange Molly fish that has been staying on the bottom, not eating or moving much. Attached are pics, for your review. Can you please provide advice for these issues, we want to try our best to save them!
my betta fish died she was found floating with fins ripped and her body white but a huge red spot in the middle could it have been my pleco? and i have some fish in there like 2 platies and 2 mollies and 1 female guppy and this is in a 20 gallon long fish tank
After birthing live babies by molly fish my fish tank smelly ? And what to do for removing this bad odour and how to prevent them for this situation in a future ?
I think my Lyretail Dalmatian molly has the swimmers bladder issue. I have videos that i could send or I can take pictures later. She stays near the top of the tank and seems to have trouble using her rear fin.
Hi, In my tank I have 2 danios, 1 ghost catfish, 2 mollies, 2 tetras, and one baby ballon belly Mollie. One of my Danios constantly chases the other. I can't tell if they are playing or fighting, because they aren't hurt in any way, but the one getting chased is constantly hiding. One of my tetras has picked up similar behavior. The danio that is chasing the other is significantly bigger than the smaller one. Plz help, thanks
My black molly fish has some type of fungus and I have been treating it with a imagitarium fungus medication but it seems to have come back and is now all over his eyes. I'm not sure what to do. I am not sure if I should seperate him or leave him with the others.
My Betta fish keeps spitting out its food. I feed it "XL color granules" mixed with "color flakes" its tank mate is a molly. I heard you can get bloodworms and soak them in garlic guard and they will eat it. Is this true? Thank you. -Cristina
