The Black Harlequin Rasbora will make an awesome schooling fish. Their unique color pattern is bound to impress. This little guy will thrive in aquariums with plants and drift wood, which will help stimulate their natural habitat. They prefer very clean water and lower pH to thrive and will display optimal coloration and health in a planted aquarium with soft substrate. The Black Harlequin has very small mouths and will need pellet and flake foods small enough. They are a smaller, non-boisterous fish, so they should be paired with other peaceful fish that make them feel safe and do not compete for food. They can be kept with larger cichlids with small mouths; such as discus. Consider a group of seven of these fish to be an absolute minimum as far as stocking goes.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.

I want to get both of my betas tank mates and one of my friends told me that harlequin rasbora's and neon tetras are good I just want to make sure they are. Or if there are better fish I could put in their tank.
Can rainbow sharks , guppies, and neon tetras stay together?
Hi I recently got six fish and four of them are good but two of them which are the same type of fish haven't eaten anything ever since I got them I don't know if it's the food. And one seems lost and keeps bumping into the tank and they usually stay in one place and one of its eyes are turning black. They are the black ones in the photos. Thank you
Hi, I bought 6 platy fish and a black corydora catfish about 2 weeks ago, all seem in good health bright colours and swimming round as normal they are in a 48l tank which the pet store said was a big enough tank for them all, but one of them seems to be loosing his scales or I’m afraid he may have itch but it dosent look like it I hope you can help, thanks.

Hi, In my tank I have 2 danios, 1 ghost catfish, 2 mollies, 2 tetras, and one baby ballon belly Mollie. One of my Danios constantly chases the other. I can't tell if they are playing or fighting, because they aren't hurt in any way, but the one getting chased is constantly hiding. One of my tetras has picked up similar behavior. The danio that is chasing the other is significantly bigger than the smaller one. Plz help, thanks
My rainbow albino shark is slow to grab the food...now it is a little bit inactive...is this a sign where in it is under nurish...?thank you for the reply already...bless you guys...
My betta is starting to get black spots on her. What should I do, is this normal?
Last Monday, I got 3 bleeding heart tetras. All seemed well. When I checked on the fish last evening, I noticed 1 of the bleeding heart tetras was missing her tail. I know she does not have fin rot, as her other fins look healthy. It didn't look infected, so I decided to let it heal on its own. When I woke up, she was floating on her back, I flipped her around and she was fine. Now the other 2 are fin nipping her and ganging up on her. I moved her to a small glass bowl, what now?
I have two male fish that I'm not sure of the breed there names are Ben(Benny) and Rosco can u please help
Hi, I had a bettas fish and a clown pleco. A day after doing a complete cleaning of the tank, my better fish died and my pleco started acting weird. I tested the water. Ph 7, ammonia 0, nitrate 0, nitrite 0. He is not eating, his skin started to look like white, like shedding? And now is like coming off. Also, his belly is bloated. I attached pictures.
