Dear friends; my 15 y.o. cat is chronic renal. she takes 125 ml serum w/lactate every 48 hs. No appetite: I must feed her Recovery & AD 120 ml/day via a seringe in the mouth. The only food she will eat spontaneouly is ND tuna or tuna&salmon. I live in Brazil, these cans are imported, very expensive. The vet told not to feed commercial canned tuna for its sodium content. Question: what if I buy natural tuna or salmon at the fishmonger and give her? Thank you VERY much!

So I give my dog both dry and wet food mixed together and he loves it...now sometimes I run out of canned food and I'll give him a can of chicken in water...can I also solve a situation with a can of tuna fish or is this bad for my dog?? My senior cat (14) stopped eating his regular dry cat food. I did try a couple new different kinds but he just wanted wet food. Now he seems to bore of that quickly so I have switching up brands. Is there a certain brand/flavor you recomend? I went from Friskies to Iams. Now he is eating Fancy Feast. I just don't know what's best to do.
