Heidi and Ginger love the low salt chicken broth over their Diamond Naturals dog food. It doesn't take much to soften their food. I understand Chihuahuas need to have food down more often than large dogs. Will twice a day for both dogs not to exceed the number of suggested calories for Ginger be sufficient? Best inexpensive boxer dry dog food
Bought purina one lamb and rice. Concerned on an ingredient. Chicken by product meal? Was taught bad for dogs and can be diesed animals. Mixing with 80 to 20 ratio of food the 80 percent is pure Balance trout and lentils grain free. But some of you say grains are good and they don’t have an allegry as they eat grained dog treats and Cheerios with no problems. Plus this food had real meat chucks and wanted to train them to eat dry food only. Thanks!

I adopted a dog yesterday and was told he is eating a special low fat wet food as he recovers from diarrhea and Coccidia. I was told he gets 1/2 can 2x per day. I’m doing this however he seems very hungry. He is 7 months, lab retriever mix and is very skinny at 16 lbs.
This is Kyro, my 1st dog I've had for 7 months. In 7 months he went from 75lbs to 85. Was feeding 2 cups twice daily of "Diamond All Natural Beef Meal & Rice" with piece of Roast Beef with a teaspoon of some kind of gravy & 1 Milkbone, 1 bully stick, 2 Grain fee treats daily. I cut back to 1 cup with Roast beef twice daily. I don't want to starve him but I want to keep his defined stomach. He won't eat unless the Roast beef & gravy is in his food. Bag of food says 4 cups daily. Any suggestions?
