Is venison or bison more palatable in dog food?
Before I started rotating my dogs food she was on on natural balance L.I.D. Venison. She also had the matching venison treats. is this a good brand? The only reason I switched was beause I felt they carbohydrate content was fairly high. (Around 50%) Also it was only 20% protein which seems low. she did do really well on this and always had dark colored firm stool. Should I just put her back on this? it doesn't Contain any veggies though, is that bad? Thanks!
Is this a good treat Wysong Dream Rabbit Freeze-Dried Dog & Cat Treats, 4.9-oz bag? It contains whey is that alright?
Just ordered Taste of the wild Grain Free Roasted Venison Bison dry puppy food, and was wondering if it's good for my 7 month old German Shorthaired Pointer puppy and if it will bother my babies stomach.
Do you think chicken or lamb is a better protein option for dry dog food? Is there one that is more easily digestible?
My 2 yo Lab/Ridgeback is 86 lbs yes overweight and has a urine ph of 5. I have her on grain free Taste of the Wild venison/buffalo 2.5 cups daily. Without spending $80.00 for a 17 lb bag of Royal Canin So , what dry food or treatments might you recommend for Rylee?
What is a better meat source in dry dog food...chicken or turkey? Is there one that is more easily digestible? One that is healthier?
My dog has eaten almost every protein source I can think of. I didn't think to save an exotic protein in case she devolved a food allergy. She's doing fine now but how would you proceed with this? The brand I'm feeding offers seven different types of protein sources, is it ok to use more than one of those choices? If so how many? (Bison/lamb), (lamb/chicken/turkey/menhaden), (chicken), (salmon/menhaden), (boar/pork), (duck/turkey),(chicken/egg/menhaden)
Does more protein mean a healthier pet food?
What is the best dog food and treats for a small breed with a sensitive stomach
I am trying to find a healthy , natural dog food for my dog , he is a 75lb coon dog , he's been on blue buffalo for some time now, he eats very little of it every day , I recently have been looking into other good dig foods , my friend feeds her dog Bill Jac dog food , she gave me some to try and my dog seemed to love it , but I was reading the ingredients and it states that they use 5kbs of chicken to make a 6lb bag , but it also says that they only use the chickens organs for it ! Is this a he
I want to get this canned food for my dog as a topper to her dry food. It has shredded chicken along with whole white beans, peas and potatoes. Will she be able to digest this ok because the beans, peas and potatoes are not ground into a pate texture? she's on the dry version of this currently. I also ditched the twelve calorie treats and purchased the smaller 2 calorie treats and I'm only giving her three of those per day. Her total intake of extras is now less than 10% of her diet. :-)
