We haven't yet put this beautiful bed in Max's safeplace where he hides from thunderstorms as we intended, in order to replace the old, worndown one from its past eight years' service. We KNOW he loves this new plush bed. He knew it was for him the second we opened the box and he excitedly helped in tugging it out of the box. However, although it was the right size bed for him, (not tiny nor too small, nor at all plush-toy-sized) and he could not toss it up in the air like he does with his other plush toys, he certainly TRIED to, and suceeded in pulling it about a little on the living room rug to where his plush toys were scattered about. Instead, he gathered his plush toys and deposited them in this bed, much to our amusement. He only lay in it once, with his favorite plush rabbit, and for only about five minues. It remains in the livng room, still holding his plush toys, where he places them when he is done playing with them. While it IS nice NOT to have all his plush toys scattered about the living room floor, I believe that we will have to buy another dfferent bed, hopefully a high-sided nesting bed to replace the old one so he can be more comfortable in his thunderstom hiding place.

No, I do not recommend this product.
