Oscar is large and getting older, so wanted to get him a bed that provided support. We has only slept in our bed, and its been getting more difficult for him on jump up. He absolutely loves this bed. He even goes to sleep on it when we are not home. It was worth every penny.

just received it; my dog (65 lb+ Pitty mix) just loved it from the very first try. I looked for American materials, American Made, American based. Well worth the research. This calming bed is the highest quality - and it doesn't sink to the floor like the cheap foreign made products are. Machine washable, very plush-just as the product is described. Bessie & Barney (brand) you nailed it..!! great product...Well worth the money.

Great for big dogs, barely any stuffing in center

The 50x50 is perfect size for my lab/Doberman mix, he’s a big boy and looooves this. Only thing I will say, the stuffing is mainly around the circumference, not as much in the middle. It still works great but less than ideal that the center doesn’t have much stuffing. I imagine this will shorten its life too. My dog works around it and lays on the sides of the bed instead of in the center, if he lays in the middle he hits the floor since he’s almost 90 pounds. Got it on sale so great price and comfy bed for the pup. Thanks!

The dog loved the bed. She would curl up on it and stay on it all night. We have washed 2x in the 11 months we have owned it. Its a pain to put the pillows back in and to zip it up is on another level. The design is dumb, because the fur is so close to the zipper it just catches. We were able to zip it up this second time, but about a month later dog did her walk around and the zipper just ripped open. Now the bed is busted. $100 bed did not last a year. I contacted petco and there is nothing they can do. I would not recommend this bed until they do improvements on the design.

I ordered XL, the item I received was a L which at first I did not realize until 2 days later. Had to return it. The bagel is nice but hardly has any cushion in the center. All the padding is around the circle and no padding under the dog. He can feel the floor.

Has anyone washed these multiple times? I have this same bed in a different fabric and it's lasted 11 years and still looks like new after every washing. But I'm wondering if the fur will mat after several washings?

      It's fur. The bottom looks like the top. I bought one of these. I can't get my French Bulldogs out of them. Finally, I bought a second one. It would only be fair to get one more.
