Tapeworm Dewormer (praziquantel) tablets may be given directly in the mouth or crumbled and mixed with the food. Adminstirer to cats and kittens only as follows. 5 lbs and under 1/2 tablet, 6-10 lbs 1 tablet, 11-15 lbs 1 1/2 tablets, 16-30 lbs 2 tablets, 31-45 lbs 3 tablets, 45-60 lbs 4 tablerts, over 60 lbs 5 tablets maximum.

Think it worked

Worked!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seemed to have worked for my pup. Consulted our vet and she said it was fine for my dog to take. He didn’t seem to have any negative reactions to the medication which was great. I mixed the tablets with some food and he seemed to take them just fine. Overall would recommend to keep your furry pets healthy!

Didn’t work, unfortunately.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested these twice on my babies, they unfortunately did nothing for the worms. Only plus is they didn’t mind the taste of them. I also found them to be a little big for puppies. Very easy to break up though.

How often are we supposed to give our dog this? I have a 33 pound puppy. I could not figure out if this is a monthly dose, daily, weekly.. thank you!!
- This is not a preventative medication. You give it when your dog has tapeworms, which are most commonly visible in their poop or bedding. Tapeworms infestations are caused by ingesting fleas so the only way to prevent tapeworms is to use monthly flea control.

Should I repeat the tapeworm med in 3 weeks to be sure they're all gone?
Can I give to my dog who is already taking Milbehart as her usual heartworm preventative?
- Heartworms and tape worms are totally different and are treated with different meds so yes. Only way an animal can get tapeworms is to eat a flea, even just one flea, heart worms come from mosquito bites.

Hi my puppy is a tiny teacup chihuahua weighs prob 1 lb. How much can I give him? 1/4th?
Why do your directions say administer to cats and kittens?
My dog weighs anywhere from 97 to 102lbs should I buy an extra bottle? Do I need to give him 6 pills instead of 5.
- All information I've seen says that 5 is the maximum dose regardless of if the dog is larger. I would not exceed the maximum recommended dose. Remember, it's a pesticide, not a vitamin.

How long does it take this medication to start working? Provided the dog does not ingest more tape worms eggs from a flea and become reinfected, when should the dog be clear of all tape worms?
- It actually works within 20 minutes, I have used this a few times on both my dogs. It has always worked in less then 20 minutes. Hope that helps

I have many different sizes of dogs and eleven dogs. I need to know how many packages to buy and I can’t find dosage instructions anywhere here, not even in product description?
- There is a dosage chart in the package for all 3 sizes of tabs. I tried to copy and paste but it didn’t work. 2-25, 26-60,45-60 lbs. Range is .5 to 2.0 tabs per dog so maybe this will help you decide how many to order.

How many times should I give to my dog?
- You should only need to give your dog one dose. My dog had tons of fleas and it only took one pill. We were extremely surprised but very happy.

The bottle came with 5 but for my puppy weigh it says give 2. I gave him 2 yesterday. When will I need to give again? The bottle does not say when to give the next dosage
- The bottle comes with enough tablets for a huge dog. You just give the number for your dog's weight, one time only. You can save the rest in case your dog gets tapeworms again (they get them from eating fleas).
