The bone broke into very sharp pieces and I had to collect all of them off the rug before my dog swallowed them. It’s not a bone for long enjoyment it cracks and splits easily.

These are absolutely called "Stinky Bones"

I was boiling the bone to make it softer, and it stunk up my entire kitchen. It smells like urine or something. I think it might be some type of seaweed treatment or something like that, but it smells uncannily like urine. Do not buy these. I think Petco needs to reformulate these. I actually brought this back for a refund. I wrapped it in tin foil and told them it was a stinky bone. Petco is very nice and they gave me my money back. I was very disappointed in this bone. There are other things to buy.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Splinters

This bone splinters when chewed aggressively, and I had to throw it away on the third day, even though I was taking it away from him each day when I couldn't be around. The dog loved it, but it isn't safe, in my opinion. If you do give one to your dog, watch them very closely when they have it, and take it from them as soon as you see evidence that it is splintering. I would not recommend it.

Horrible product. Dangerous. This is one of many splinters to come off of it. Glad I caught my dog in time to not let him finish. God knows the damage this could’ve done to him.

Awful dog chew!

Gave to my dog with a pretty normal stomach, he has eaten lots of treats with no issue. Within 10 min there were a bunch of little bone shards breaking off so we took it away. He then proceeded to have severe diarrhea for the 8 days following until a vet visit and antibiotics helped it pass. Nothing in his diet or environment changed other than the bone.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good pick for a chewer

My lab enjoys these very much and they occupy him for a decent amount of time as he has to work to get the “blanket” off. He’s a big chewer so this is right up his alley.

Yes, I recommend this product.
