We are very sorry to hear this and are happy to explain the item in question. Our odor-free bully sticks are not chemically treated with bleach or formaldehyde. They are simply cooked at lower temperatures for a longer period to remove the moisture, which is what causes the odor. We recommend taking the sticks out of the bags and letting them air out for a few hours or overnight. Doing this should remove the moisture as well as the odor.<br /><br />Please keep in mind, the only way to completely remove the odor is to use harmful chemicals. As your dog chews, the saliva is adding moisture back into the product which will slightly perk up the scent.

These are definitely not odor free. They smell awful and made my dog’s breath smell worse.

These were unbearly smelly. They claim to be odor free, but even my kids were gagging when I opened the package. My dog liked them, probably because they snell like poo. These were actually the worst smelling bully sticks I've ever bought.

I gave one to my dog and immediately heard it cracking as he was eating it. I took it away and tried to give him a second. Same thing. My dog isn’t new to bully sticks but for some reason, these were splintering bad! I bought this brand in the past without issue so I’m not sure what’s going on but I had to throw them away because they were unsafe.
