The Bala Shark is an eye-catching and active freshwater fish, renowned for its sleek, silver body and distinctive black-tipped fins. Native to Southeast Asia, this species is a favorite among aquarists for its impressive size, lively swimming patterns, and peaceful temperament. Growing up to 13 inches, the Bala Shark thrives in spacious aquariums of at least 70 gallons, where it has plenty of room to swim freely. These social fish do best in schools of three or more, displaying natural group behavior. With their calm nature, they can peacefully coexist with a wide range of other community fish, making them perfect for large, well-maintained freshwater tanks. As omnivores, Bala Sharks should be fed high-quality flakes or pellets, along with occasional live or frozen foods like bloodworms and brine shrimp. A diet of fresh vegetables and algae-based foods will also support their overall health. Known for their graceful swimming, Bala Sharks bring both energy and elegance to any aquarium.

Will 2 Bala sharks be okay in my 6.5 gallon tank
I have an angelfish and a red tail shark in a 15 gallon tank for about 4 days and they get along great. The angel fish has been almost swimming kind of lazy like almost floating and then will swim when off balance. And belly kinda looks swollen as well as eyes. And my red tail shark seems to have a gray patch on it's side and not swimming as active as he was. Either hides in the back of tank or in a house for hours.
Best foods for 29gallon tank with 4Rosaline Sharks, 4Congo Tetras, 1large bushy nosed plecostamus. Vitamins?
Can rainbow sharks , guppies, and neon tetras stay together?
I have 2.5 gallon bowl ...which fish breed can i kept in it
I have 2 salmenese tiger fish and two smaller fish in approximately 3.5 L bowl. I bought them on 1 April. 3 act normal but one act abnormal from first day. One salmenese tiger fish doesn't move much first it stayed at bottom now it's gapping at surface and if I try to catch to check it it goes down again. It's fins are turning red or I don't know if it already was. I don't understand how to help. Parents are out town so I can't go to shop. I am not sure if all are eating food.
I have a 26 gallon tank which have 1 adult Texas fish, 3 adult silver sharks and 2 small 3'' tiger Oscars. I have brought another tank of about 10 gallons which have only 1 loach in it. How can I arrange the fishes in between two tanks so that all can live without any problem.. kindly assist me. Thanking you, SRIJIT GHOSH
I am not able to ID my fish. It seems to belong to the family of snakehead bettas. But it is yellow in colour. They belly is a shimmering yellow gradually getting duller towards the tail. the tail and fins are yellow with red borders. Its eyes are blue. It seems to be enjoying staying at the top most of the time. Its not aggressive. Please help me ID my fish
My rainbow albino shark is slow to grab the food...now it is a little bit inactive...is this a sign where in it is under nurish...?thank you for the reply already...bless you guys...
Hi, In my tank I have 2 danios, 1 ghost catfish, 2 mollies, 2 tetras, and one baby ballon belly Mollie. One of my Danios constantly chases the other. I can't tell if they are playing or fighting, because they aren't hurt in any way, but the one getting chased is constantly hiding. One of my tetras has picked up similar behavior. The danio that is chasing the other is significantly bigger than the smaller one. Plz help, thanks

One molly died quick and sudden. another molly (bloated not pregnant) bottom of tank looked dying. put in salt. This is a balloon molly and i noticed that the fin has been damaged. I dont know why it has happened, can you tell me why? I keep 3 balloons in my 20L tank and he is the most aggressive so i dont think the others did it to him. I feed them tropical fish flakes and frozen brine shrimp in turns and do water changes once a week. Can this condition be fixed? if so, how can i help him?
